RUSH: NEIL PEART Anniversary Drumsticks To Be Auctioned Off For Charity
October 22, 2004RUSH fan site Power Windows is reporting that Pro-Mark is auctioning off for charity 30 pairs of Limited Edition Rush 30th Anniversary sticks, used by Neil Peart during RUSH's 30th Anniversary 2004 World Tour. Each of the 30 winners will receive a pair of the Pro-Mark limited-edition sticks in a custom-embroidered velvet bag, along with a certificate of authenticity numbered and personally signed by Neil. Winners will also receive a copy of Neil's "A Work In Progress" DVD. The highest bidder will receive the sticks and certificate in a shadow box frame, along with one of Neil's drumheads, also used during RUSH's 30th Anniversary tour. All proceeds will be donated to Child Advocates, Inc., an organization devoted to breaking the vicious cycle of child abuse. The online auction concludes at midnight Jan. 1, 2005.
